This is more than bricks and blueprints. It’s about making more room for God’s work, creating sacred space for the next generation, and stepping out in bold obedience, together. Just like Nehemiah stood before the ruins of Jerusalem with a broken heart and a holy ambition, we too are standing at the edge of a defining moment.
The Nehemiah Fund is our collective “yes” to God’s call to rebuild, not just a building, but a legacy of faith, worship, discipleship, and community. It's prayerful planning and purposeful building. It's hands to work and hearts to worship. It's picking up the shovel and the sword (Nehemiah 4:17) to advance the mission of Jesus in Port Jefferson and beyond.
This good work will take vision. It will take sacrifice. But most of all, it will take all of us, one heart, one wall, unified under the gracious hand of God.

HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT US
The most powerful way you can partner with us in the Nehemiah Project is through prayer. This is a spiritual work long before it's a physical one, and we’re asking you to cover every phase of this project with intercession.
Pray that God would give us wisdom in every decision, from materials to timing to stewardship. Ask for unity and clarity among our leadership, for peace and joy in the waiting, and for supernatural favor with local officials and inspectors. Pray for good weather and momentum to stay on track. Ask for protection, safety, and blessing over every worker who steps onto our site, that this would be a place marked not just by construction, but by the presence of God. Intercede for provision to meet every need, for patience when plans shift, and for endurance to finish strong.
Most of all, pray that this building would be a vessel of revival, where lives are healed, families restored, and people meet Jesus for the first time.
