Every service at Cornerstone is centered on the Gospel. You will hear engaging, biblical teaching from our Lead Pastor, Mike Rubino, who is passionate about Gospel-centered multiplication here on Long Island and beyond. He not only leads our church but also speaks at conferences nationwide and founded the Church Revitalize Center to help churches grow and thrive.
Our services include Spirit-filled worship led by Heather Rubino, our Worship Leader, who also oversees the women’s ministry, social media, and special events. Worship at Cornerstone is designed to help you connect with God in a meaningful way.
We are a multi-generational, multi-cultural church, offering a family-friendly environment where people of all ages and backgrounds can grow in faith together. From engaging kids' programs to meaningful discipleship opportunities, there’s a place for everyone here. Our #1 mission is to build lives for Christ!
Behind the scenes, our Church Administrator, Diane, keeps everything running smoothly. She organizes daily operations and handles finances—earning her the nickname “the great and powerful Wizard of Oz” because she ensures everything goes according to plan!

What kind of church is this?Cornerstone Bible Church is a gospel-centered, Bible-believing church that exists to love God deeply and love people boldly. We’re not about religion for religion’s sake—we’re about real transformation through Jesus Christ. Everything we do flows from the truth of God’s Word and the power of His Spirit. Planted in 1959 by the Venture Church Network, we’ve spent decades helping people encounter the grace of God, grow in spiritual family, and live out their faith with courage and conviction. Whether you’re new to church or looking for something more real and rooted, you’ll find a place here where the gospel is central, people are known, and Christ is lifted high.

When is your service?Our service is from 10:30am – 12:00pm every Sunday. We also offer a prayer service from 9:30am -10:15am on Sunday mornings, along with various small groups, children's ministry and other events all week long. Check our Events Page for more information.

What is your service like?Our Sunday service has a casual, come-as-you-are atmosphere where everyone’s welcome—whether you’re in jeans, a hoodie, or your Sunday best. We kick things off with energetic, Christ-centered worship that helps you lift your eyes and open your heart. Then you’ll hear a passionate, straight-from-the-Word message that’s rooted in Scripture and real-life application. We take God’s Word seriously—but not ourselves. So expect some laughter, maybe some conviction, and always a clear invitation to know Jesus more. It’s real, it’s relevant, and it’s all about Him.

What about my kids?Great question—your kids matter deeply to us, not just for today, but for the future. We believe children aren’t just the church of tomorrow—they’re the church of right now, and we’re committed to helping them grow in faith, truth, and identity in Christ. On Sundays, we have a safe and welcoming nursery available for infants and toddlers during the entire service. After worship, all children up through 6th grade are invited to their own age-appropriate message where they’ll learn about Jesus in a way that’s fun, engaging, and gospel-centered. Every one of our children’s workers goes through rigorous background checks, and no adult is ever alone with a child. We take their safety and spiritual formation seriously—because raising up the next generation of Christ-followers is one of our greatest callings.
